Downtown commercial properties are often unaffordable to business owners because the properties have subterranean and upper stories that can't efficiently be used for business purposes. Furthermore, many downtown properties require extensive renovation and the investment of on-going maintenance.

CHS Development Property Management addresses both these issues with the offering of Renaissance Center, where business owners can purchase condominium space ranging from 500 - 20,000 square feet. Regardless of whether you select space within the project's beautifully preserved historic corner building – or in the all new "Class A" space located on Prospect Street, you can depend on the highest quality of construction standards.

An affordable, monthly condominium fee provides for all maintenance of the common building structure, as well as interior and exterior maintenance – thereby protecting your investment. On-street parking and spaces in the adjacent metered parking lot will provide for the needs of you, your clients and customers.

With so many compelling reasons to own a commercial location, make the investment decision of a lifetime by locating your business at Renaissance Center.

Past and present ingenuity converge with the development of Renaissance Center, downtown Hagerstown's new commercial condominium project that incorporates preservation, adaptive reuse, and all new contruction. The project's historic property located on the corner of Washington and Prospect streets was constructed in 1902 by John Luther Nicodemus as his in-town residence. J.L. Nicodemus had a genius for business and was considered one of Washington County's most successful entrepreneurs. He served as the original president of People's National Bank, which in the course of a dozen years became one of the largest financial institutions in western Maryland. His career also included the founding of several other banks and a land development company. Following his death, his large home was converted into a professional center where a variety of business entities were quartered. CHS Development Property Management pays tribute to the Nicodemus legacy with the development of Renaissance Center and its dual mission of strengthening local businesses and commercial activity throughout downtown Hagerstown.
